The clients didn’t have a vision for their relatively large sloping front yard. However we were able to work with them and have them trust us to build what has turned out to be a very creative and striking front yard. The team have been able to combine corten steel edging across the entirety of the frontage creating various levels and areas of garden. These segmented areas of gardens were then thoughtfully and strategically planted out to help with the aesthetics of the split level look created. All sizes and groupings of the plants when fully grown were considered for example. Whilst that has been implemented, the team were also able to keep the look simple, clean and practical with bluestone paving steppers, feature rock and a timber letterbox all adding to continue the natural earthy tones throughout. We’ve also added timber side gates and screens, the screens were made to hide the bins and the dual gate provides caravan access.

In the rear, these clients just wanted to utilise as much of their space as possible, so everything was oversized. Large alfresco deck extending to the rear with bench seating added, large fire pit entertaining area and two turfed areas to fill out the rest. The huge custom fire pit wouldn’t normally be an option in a normal backyard, but we’ve been able to highlight it and it’s become a beautiful feature of the yard!Garden beds were included surrounding the entire area. What an amazing space for a growing family to entertain and utilise over the years to come!
