What an incredible transformation! We started this project with a full demolition, removing all the old landscaping elements, including the split-level deck, barbecue area, planter boxes, and the concrete slab with slate paving. The courtyard had been uninviting, underused, and visually unappealing. Clearing everything gave us a blank canvas to create something truly impressive.

The highlight of the new landscaping is the merbau decking, featuring a built-in bench seat and planter box. These additions make the space more functional while also incorporating bamboo screens along the fence, with bamboo plants adding a lush, tranquil vibe. The large, single-level deck, extending from the living room, creates a far more functional outdoor space than the previous split-level deck.

We also added a small turfed area for pets, adding color and vibrancy to the space. Feature corten steel panels screen off the utility area, providing a neat, dedicated space for the dog’s kennel, washing line, bins, and gardening tools, all hidden from the primary area.
